Model RealTime Overview

DevOps Model RealTime is an Eclipse-based modeling and development environment for creating event-driven real-time applications. It supports the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and its real-time profile (UML-RT).
Systems engineers use Model RealTime for specifying and documenting the structure and behavior of complex application architectures using UML diagrams of various kinds.
Software engineers use Model RealTime for developing application code which to a large extent can be automatically generated from the UML model. Highly efficient C and C++ code can be generated, which together with a run-time library can be built into executable applications.

Model RealTime provides many benefits as development environment. For example:

Model RealTime is built upon the popular and extensible Eclipse platform. In particular it is often used together with Eclipse plugins such as CDT and EGit. And of course you can extend and customize it by writing your own Eclipse plugins.

Migration of Rational Rose Real-Time models are fully supported. In fact, Model RealTime is the next generation of Rose Real-Time, so if this is your current development environment, you should really consider migrating to Model RealTime.

Model RealTime is actively developed by a team with many years of experience from modeling tools. We use an agile development process and usually deliver new production versions every 6th week.

Our support team is also very experienced and will be happy to assist you if you experience problems or have questions. You are also welcome to submit ideas for future improvements. Model RealTime is developed in close cooperation with its users.

Model RealTime has a large user community which is constantly growing.
