The May release of RTist is now available. As usual it contains many interesting improvements. Let's take a look at some of them.
The Debug view now shows the events that are pending to be dispatched to a capsule instance. The events are shown in separate queues for each port of the capsule instance. You can use this information to understand which event will be processed next by a capsule instance, and you can see the priority and the data carried by each event.
The Variables view now shows all attributes for a capsule instance, even inherited private ones. Arbitrary deep inheritance hierarchies are supported, and the attribute values can both be shown and edited (if it is typed by a type that has a decoding function defined in its type descriptor).
When you change the preference RealTime Development – Build/Transformations – C++ - Generate additional information for Code Analysis you will be prompted for automatic deletion of all target CDT projects (since they need to be regenerated).
The new release also contains many bug fixes and other minor improvements.
